The script is reportedly bigger than any previous Bethesda game by a wide margin. But Starfield also has layered a traditional Bethesda RPG on top of that, full of combat (which will be better than No Man’s Sky combat, to be sure) and elaborate storylines and voicework that span the galaxy, far more than NMS has been able to do, even as they have added quests and storylines in time. So, that is the basis of the game, which is also the basis of No Man’s Sky.
